Welcome to 🍅 GARDEN NOTES 🥬
A gardener lite logbook of weekly learnings & findings as I tend to my garden this season. Receiving guidance primarily from my elders; my neighbor, mother-in-law, grandparents, and greenhouse friend. Secondary resources are the Old Farmer’s Almanac and Google.

The Garden
Here’s a roundup of plants in my garden this year. Garden is an all-encompassing term for all the plants in our yard and in the borrowed raised beds at our neighbors. I had a perception I couldn’t plant anything in our yard because it’s heavily shaded by our mama oak and maples surrounding the lot line. This year I decided I need to bloom where I’m planted and try anyway. I can hold off no longer for larger land, more sun, or the idealized environment, outfit, and tools to grow a garden. I can try now, right where I am. Fail forward with me! and my flowers:
